SunRidge Canyon Community Association is governed by a Board of Directors. There are five directors on the Board, each serving a term of two years. The directors are elected by the Neighborhood Voting Members of the Association, not by the membership directly. The Board adopts the policies of the Association and the annual budget, and oversees the overall management of the Association. The Board hires the management company, landscape contractor, attorney, and other subcontractors to accomplish the work of the Association and to protect its assets.
Architectural control and review is governed by the New Construction Committee and the Modifications Committee. These two committees have been combined into one committee called the Architectural Review Committee (ARC). There are currently five seats on the Architectural Review Committee and its members are appointed by the Board of Directors.
Neighborhood Voting Members are property owners elected by their respective neighborhoods within SunRidge Canyon. Each of the 15 neighborhoods in SunRidge Canyon elects a Voting Member and Alternate who cast the neighborhood’s votes to elect the Board of Directors. Voting Members also cast their neighborhood’s votes in other important Association business such as amendments to the CC&Rs and use restrictions, and acquisition or sale of Association property.
